1. Installation

  • Note: Version 0.69 does not work. Use version 0.68 instead.

  • Run the Ext2Fsd-0.68.exe file with administrative privileges.

  • Click Next.

    C:\Program Files\Ext2Fsd
  • Click Next.

    ■ Ext2 File System Driver
  • Click Next.

  • Click Next.

    ■ Make Ext2Fsd automatically started when system boots
    □ Enable write support for Ext2 partitions
    □ Enable force writing support on Ext3 partitions
  • Click Next.

  • Optional: Click Yes to automatically start Ext2Mgr when booting.

  • Uncheck Start Ext2 Volume Manager right now to assign driver letters for your ext2/ext3 partitions?.

  • Click Finish.

2. Configuration

  • Start Ext2 Volume Manager.

  • Right-click a fixed disk Linux partition and select Change Drive letter.

  • Click Add.

  • Select P:.

    □ Mount via DefineDosDevice, will be lost after reboot
    □ Automatic mount via MountMgr.
    ■ Create a permanent MountPoint via Session Manager.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Done.

  • Right-click an external disk Linux partition and select Change Drive letter.

  • Click Add.

  • Select T:.

    □ Mount via DefineDosDevice, will be lost after reboot
    ■ Automatic mount via MountMgr.
    □ Create a permanent MountPoint via Session Manager.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Done.

  • Close Ext2 Volume Manager.

  • Restart the computer.
