Catacombae Software HFSExplorer is an application that can read Mac-formatted hard disks and disk images. It can read the file systems HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) and HFSX (Mac OS Extended with case sensitive file names).
1. Installation

Install Java Runtime Environment.

Run the hfsexplorer-0.23.1-setup.exe file with administrative privileges.

Click Next.

Click I Agree.
-
Select Typical.
■ HFSExplorer ■ Register .dmg file association □ Register .cdr file association

Click Next.
C:\Program Files (x86)\HFSExplorer

Click Next.
-
Click Install.
-
Click Finish.
2. Usage

Attach the external USB device with the Mac file system.

Start HFSExplorer.

Select File > Load file system from device.

Click Autodetect.
-
Click OK.
-
Do your thing.
-
Close HFSExplorer.
-
Select File > Exit.

Detach the external USB device.
