1. Sign up

  • Browse to https://lastpass.com.

  • Select Log In.

  • Select Create an account now.

2.2.1. Windows Installer

  • Run the LastPassInstaller-4.28.0.exe file with administrative privileges.

  • Select ADVANCED.

  • Uncheck Install Shortcut to Desktop.

  • Check Install Shortcuts to Start Menu.

  • Uncheck Automatically log off from Internet Explorer LastPass plugin.

  • Check Install binary component for Chrome and Firefox.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\LastPass

□ Uncheck *Install Shortcut to Desktop*.
■ Check *Install Shortcuts to Start Menu*.
□ Uncheck *Automatically log off from Internet Explorer LastPass plugin*.
■ Check *Install binary component for Chrome and Firefox*.

  • Click UPDATE.

  • Click INSTALL.

  • Click Yes to enable sideloading oh the machine.

  • Click CLOSE.

2.2.2. Windows App

  • Note: This is only available on windows 8 and 10.

  • Windows 8 Start Store.

  • Windows 10 Start Microsoft Store.

  • Click Search.

  • Type LastPass in Search field.

  • Select LastPass.

  • Start Firefox.

  • Select Open Menu > Add-ons.

  • Type LastPass in Find more extendsons field.

  • Select LastPass Password Manager.

  • Click + Add to Firefox.

  • Click Add.

  • Click OKay, Got It.

  • Close Firefox.

2.3. Usage

  • Optional: Create a New Account

  • Start LastPass.

  • Todo:.

  • Optional: Log In to Existing Account.

  • Start LastPass.

  • Select Log In to Existing Account.

  • Type the email in the Email field.

  • Type the password in the Master Password field.

  • Click OK on Congratulations message.
