1.1. Installation

  • Run the MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64-108.0.1462.54.msi file.

  • Optional: Click Install anyway when the Someone else is signed in to this PC message is shown.

  • Wait for the installation to finish.

  • Click Get started.

  • Optional: Select Continue without importing.

  • Optional: Click Confirm.

  • Optional: Click Confirm.

  • Optional: Select Inspirational.

  • Optional: Click Confirm.

  • Optional: Click Complete setup.

  • Optional: Select Continue without signing in.

  • Close the Welcome to the new Microsoft Edge window.

  • Close Microsoft Edge.

1.2. Configuration

  • Log on as <User>.

  • Start Microsoft Edge.

  • Click the (Settings and more) button in the top right corner and select Settings.

  • Select the Profiles page.

  • Select Passwords.

  • Disable Offer to save passwords.

  • Disable Sign in automatically.

  • Select the Profiles page.

  • Select Payment info.

  • Disable Save and fill payment info.

  • Select the Profiles page.

  • Select Addresses and more.

  • Disable Save and fill addresses.

  • Select the Appearance page.

  • Optional: Enable Show home button.

  • Optional: Choose Enter URL and type delta-web-vps.deltasoftware.frl/delta-portal.html.

  • Optional: Click Save.

  • Select Show favorites bar | Only on new tabs.

  • Enable Show favorites button.

  • Enable Show Collections button.

  • Disable Show web capture button.

  • Disable Show share button.

  • Disable Show feedback button.

  • Select the On startup page.

  • Choose Open a specific page or pages.

  • Click Add a new page.

  • Type www.google.com/ncr in the Enter a URL field.

  • Click Add.

  • Select the System page.

  • Disable Continue running background apps when Microsoft Edge is closed.

  • Enable Use hardware acceleration when available.

  • Close Microsoft Edge.

  • Enter the following commands at a Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

    Set-ConfigMicrosoftEdge

1.3. Extensions

  • Start Microsoft Edge.

  • Install the following extensions by performing the actions below.

    Disconnect
HTTPS Everywhere
uBlock Origin

  • Click the (Settings and more) button in the top right corner and select Extensions.

  • Select Manage extensions.

  • Select Get extensions for Microsoft Edge.

  • Search for the extension in the Search all add-ons field.

  • Click <Extension> | Get.

  • Click Add extension to confirm.

  • Wait.

  • Close the <Extension> has been added to Microsoft Edge window.

  • Close Microsoft Edge.
