Open-Shell

Run the OpenShellSetup_4_4_196.exe file with administrative privileges.

Click Next.

Check I accept the terms in the License Agreement.

Click Next.

Check Create a start menu folder.

■ Open-Shell
  ■ Classic Explorer
  ■ Open-Shell Menu
  x Classic IE
  ■ Open-Shell Update

C:\Program Files\Open-Shell

Click Next.

Click Install.

Optional: Choose Close the applications and attempt to restart them.

Optional: Click OK.

Optional: Choose Do not close applications. A reboot will be required..

Optional: Click OK.

Click Finish.

Log on as <User>.

Right-click Start and select Settings.

Select the Start Menu Style tab.

Choose Classic style.

Select the Basic Settings tab.

Choose Recent documents > Don’t display this item.

Choose Control Panel > Display as a menu.

Check Show Log Off.

Choose Show recent or frequent programs > Don’t show.

Check Show all settings.

Select the Special Items tab.

Check Show Log Off.

Check Confirm Log Off.

Select the General Behavior tab.

Uncheck Highlight newly installed programs.

Uncheck Show all settings.

Click OK.

Start Open-Shell Update.

Uncheck Automatically check for new versions.

Click OK.
