1. Installation

  • Download the latest version from https://getsharex.com.

  • Run the ShareX-13.5.0-setup.exe file with administrative privileges.

  • Choose I accept the agreement.

  • Click Next.

    C:\Program Files\ShareX

  • Click Next.

  • Uncheck Create a desktop shortcut.

  • Uncheck Show "Upload with ShareX" button in Windows Explorer context menu.

  • Uncheck Create a send to shortcut.

  • Uncheck Run ShareX when Windows starts.

  • Click Next.

  • Click Install.

  • Uncheck Launch ShareX.

  • Click Finish.

2. Portable

  • Copy the T:\IT\Public\Apps\ShareX folder to the destination computer C:\Tmp folder.

  • Run the C:\Tmp\ShareX\ShareX.exe file.

  • Select Capture > Screen recording.

  • Select the whole screen or specific window to do the recording.

  • Note: The record will start automatically after you select the whole screen or specific window.

  • Click the Click to stop recording in the right-button notification area.

  • Click the ShareX icon in the right-button notification area and select exit.
