1. Installation

Run the StartMenu10_Setup_6_3_PRO.exe file with administrative privileges.

Choose I accept the agreement.

Click Next.

Choose Free version.

Click Next.

Choose Combine Applications and Programs in a single main menu item (recommended).

Click Install.

Uncheck Launch Start Menu 10.

Click Finish.
2. Configuration

Log on as <User>.

Right-click the Start Menu X icon in the Notification Area and select Options.

Select the System integration tab.

Check Launch the program with Windows.

Select Open Start Menu X by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard.

Select Open the system menu by pressing the Shift+Windows keys on the keyboard.

Select the Personalization tab.

Select Skin | Windows Metro.

Select the Start button tab.

Select the Style tab.

Choose Start Menu X.

Select the Advanced options tab.

Uncheck Highlight the files that are updated in the last 5 days.

Uncheck Automatically check updates.
