2. Installation

  • Run the SUPERAntiSpyware-10.0.0.1206.exe file.

  • Click Next.

  • Click I Agree.

  • Choose Anyone who uses this computer (all users).

    ● Anyone who uses the computer (all users)
○ Only for me (current user)

  • Click Next.

    C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware

  • Click Next.

  • Optional: Click Yes to continue installing in existing folder.

  • Leave the E-mail address: field empty.

  • Click Next.

  • Uncheck Check for recent definition database updates.

  • Uncheck Submit a system diagnostic to help identify potentially harmful software.

  • Click Next.

  • Click Finished.

  • Click Decline to skip the free SUPERAntiSpyware Professional trial.

  • Close SUPERAntiSpyware.

  • Remove the SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition icon from the desktop.

3. Configuration

Configuration settings are stored in the SAS_ALLUSER.DB3 SQLite file
in the C:\ProgramData\SUPERAntiSpyware.com\SUPERAntiSpyware folder.

  • Start SUPERAntiSpyware.

  • Right-click the SUPERAntiSpyware icon in the Notification Area.

  • Select System Tools and Program Settings.

  • Click Preferences.

  • Uncheck Start SUPERAntiSpyware with Windows.

  • Click Done.

  • Click Done.

  • Select Real-Time Protection.

  • Check Enable Home Page Protection.

  • Type http://www.google.com/ncr in the Home page URL: field.

  • Optional: Check Display this notification window when home page changed.

    Home page URL:  http://www.google.com/ncr

  • Check Notify me if an application attempts to change my home page.

  • Click Done.

  • Select Automatic Updates.

  • Uncheck Check for newer versions of SUPERAntiSpyware.

  • Uncheck Install application updates automatically.

  • Uncheck Notify me if I have not checked for database updates in 5 days.

  • Uncheck Notify me when database updates have been downloaded.

  • Click Done.

  • Close SUPERAntiSpyware.

  • Right-click the SUPERAntiSpyware icon in the Notification Area.

  • Select Exit.

  • Optional: Check Do not show this message again next time.

  • Click OK.
