  • Restart the server.

  • Press F10 to enter the Lifecycle Controller (7.10.90.00 Build 1190).

  • Note: Firmware updates in Lifecycle Controller 7.10.90.00 Build 1190 don’t work.

  • Note: Instead check for firmware updates using iDRAC > Maintenance > System Update > Manual Update.

  • Note: Configuring virtual disks in Lifecycle Controller 7.10.90.00 Build 1190 doesn’t work.

  • Note: Configuring an additional virtual disk wipes out the existing virtual disk.

  • Note: Instead configure virtual disks using iDRAC > Storage > Overview > Virtual Disks.

  • Log in as root at 10.10.1.204 using PuTTY.

  • Use the iDRAC-TBHF-HyperV01 password stored in the KeePass Password Manager.

2. Initial Setup

2.1. System Time

  • Restart the server.

  • Press F2 to enter System Setup.

  • Select System BIOS > Miscellaneous Settings.

  • Click on the System Time field.

  • Adjust the time to GMT+07 (local time in Thailand) and click OK.

  • Click Back.

  • Click Finish.

  • Click Finish.

  • Click Yes to exit.

  • Note: This is to prevent any pending job waiting indefinitely.

  • Restart the server.

3. RACADM

  • Log in as root at 10.10.1.204 using PuTTY.

4.1. Installation

  • Restart the server.

  • Press F10 to enter the Lifecycle Controller.

  • Select OS Deployment > Deploy OS.

  • Choose Go Directly to OS Deployment.
