1.1. Usage

  • Click Tunnelblick icon in notification and select Connect SMRU.

  • Type <User>.vpn in Username field.

  • Type the password in Password field.

  • Click OK.

1.1.1. Connect to SMRU file server

  • Open Finder.

  • Select Go > Connect to Server.

  • P drive: Type smb://10.10.1.3/Public$ and click Connect.

  • S drive: Type smb://10.10.1.3/Shared$ and click Connect.

  • T drive: Type smb://10.10.1.3/Teams$ and click Connect.

  • U drive: Type smb://10.10.1.3/Home$ and click Connect.

  • Optional: Click Connect.

  • Type SMRU\<domain user> in Name field.

  • Type the password in Password field.

  • Click Connect.

  • Do your thing.

  • Eject 10.10.1.3 network share.

  • Close Finder.

2. Windows

2.1. Usage

  • Note: Make sure that the computer is not connected to the SMRU network.

  • Note: Make sure that the computer is connected to the internet.

  • Note: Make sure that the proxy server is disabled.

  • Log on as <User>.

  • Double-click the OpenVPN Connect shortcut.

  • Select OpenVPN Profile to connect.

  • Type the password of the VPN account.

  • Click OK.

    Username:               <User>.vpn
    Password:               ********
  • Click OK.

  • Optional: Double-click the SMRU File Server.cmd file or SMRU File Server shortcut on your desktop.

  • SMRU File Server.cmd on personal computer: Type SMRU\<Domain user> and press Enter.

  • SMRU File Server.cmd on personal computer:: Type your domain user password and press Enter.

  • Do your thing.

  • Right-click the OpenVPN Connect icon in the Notification Area.

  • Select Disconnect.

  • Right-click the OpenVPN Connect icon in the Notification Area.

  • Select Exit.
