1. Add Domain

  • Click Login.

  • Click Sign in.

    To access these offers:
    
    1. Click Continue below to be redirected to the Office 365 admin center where you can purchase
      your desired nonprofit offers.
    2. In the Office 365 portal, go to the Admin center, click Billing, click Subscriptions,
      and then click Add subscriptions to get offers and assign users.
  • Click Continue to Office 365 admin portal.

  • Click arrow icon.

  • Click arrow icon.

  • Click arrow icon.

  • Click arrow icon.

  • Click arrow icon.

  • Click correct icon.

  • Click Admin.

  • Select Setup > Domains.

  • Click Add domain.

  • Type bhf-th.org in Enter the domain you own here field.

  • Click Next.

  • Add DNS record with the following information at https://www.lonex.com/members.html.

    TXT name:       @ or skip if no supported by provider.
    TXT value:      MS=ms47869578
    TTL:            3600 or your provider default.
  • Click Verify.

  • Choose I’ll manage my own DNS records.

  • Click Next.

  • Check Exchange.

  • Click Next.

  • Uncheck Skip this step - I have custom DNS records, so I’ll add the records I need later. I understand that some Office 365 services may be unavailable until I manually add the records with my registrar..

  • Click Verify.

  • Click Finish.

2. Manage domain DNS

  • Browse to https://admin.microsoft.com.

  • Click Next.

  • Click Sign in.

  • Uncheck Don’t show this again.

  • Click No.

  • Select Settings > Domains.

  • Select bhf-th.org (Default).

  • Click DNS management.

  • Choose Set up my online services for me. (Recommended).

  • Click Next.

  • Check Exchange.

  • Uncheck Skype for Business.

  • Check Mobile Device Management for Office 365.

  • Add DNS record with the following information at https://www.lonex.com/members.html.

  • Click Verify.

  • Click Finish.

  • Select Account manager > Sign out.

  • Close Browser.

3. Modern Authentication

  • Note: Make sure Modern authentication is enabled.

  • Browse to https://admin.microsoft.com.

  • Click Next.

  • Click Sign in.

  • Uncheck Don’t show this again.

  • Click No.

  • Optional: Click Show all.

  • Select Settings > Org settings.

  • Click Modern authentication.

  • Check Turn on modern authentication for Outlook 2013 for Windows and later (recommended).

  • Check Outlook client.

  • Check Exchange ActiveSync (EAS).

  • Uncheck Autodiscover.

  • Uncheck IMAP4.

  • Uncheck POP3.

  • Check Authenticated SMTP.

  • Uncheck Exchange Online Powershell.

  • Click Save.

  • Browse to https://admin.microsoft.com.

  • Login with Microsoft 365 Admin account.

  • Optional: Click Show all.

  • Select Settings > Org settings.

  • Select MyAnalytics.

  • Optional: Uncheck Insights dashbord.

  • Uncheck Weekly digest.

  • Optional: Uncheck Insights Outlook add-in.

  • Click Save.

  • Click Close.

  • Select Account manager > Sign out.

  • Close Browser.

6. Briefing email

  • Note: Users can unsubscribe individually from within any Briefing email they receive. If you disable the Briefing email at the tenant level, users in your organization will not receive the Briefing email, but individual users can override this tenant-level setting. To completely prevent a user from receiving the Briefing email, you must disable the Briefing email for that user with PowerShell.

6.1. GUI

  • Browse to https://admin.microsoft.com.

  • Login with Microsoft 365 Admin account.

  • Optional: Click Show all.

  • Select Settings > Org settings.

  • Select Briefing email.

  • Uncheck Let people in your organiztion receive Briefing email.

  • Click Save.
